July Favourites / Make-Up Haul

Hi everyone !

I prepared this post, etc. last Wednesday 25th as I got my last tooth out today.
It's basically just a haul of some make-up products I've bought over summer soo far & talking about them.
This morning before my dentist appointment, I actually started school hairstyles for a back to school series that I'm planning on posting in two weeks, but for now lets take a look at the products I will be talking about today.

Clockwise from Essence Colour & Go nail polish Choose Me  !

Essence Colour & Go in Choose Me ! €1.29 ~ This shade of Essence's Colour & Go nail polish range has really been the talking point this summer with beauty guru's & nail artists. The glitter is really prominent yet the shade rich in pigment which is unusual for nail polishes. I definitely recommend this as a beach nail polish for your toe nails !
Barry M Nail Paint in Red Glitter £2.99 ~ I've never tried Barry M's nail paint although I've been meaning to for a long time. The colour of this nail polish looks great & I can't wait to wear this during the winter months, because it's a real Christmas, New Year, etc. shade.
No7 Perfect Light Pressed Powder in Fair €14.25 ~ I've only worn this powder twice as it's not as good as my Clinique Almost Powder, but I think this powder will be really handy for me for school in September & activities.
17 Hide Away Concealer in Fair £3.89 ~ I recently reviewed this concealer (I'll leave the link at the bottom.) & didn't find the concealer great, but I'm slowly warming to it. It takes time & patience to apply this concealer, but when it melts in with a powder it looks great.
Essence Gel Eye-Liner Brush €1.80 ~ I love this brush, because it's easy to use & applies the gel eye-liner really well. It dosen't take long to clean either. I did a post including this before which I'll leave the link below.
Essence Quattro palette in Denim 4.0 €3.49 ~ I've had this palette almost a month now & it's by far my favourite eyeshadow palette that I own. It's easy to work with & I've used it in tons of tutorials.

That's my haul & I hope you enjoyed it.
I've left some links under this & I'll be back in a few days with a requested tutorial.
Have a great day !

Essence Gel Eyeliner Review & Tutorial ~ I actually couldn't find this quite strangely.

Lasting Your Outfit From Day til' Night

Hi everyone !

Today I'm doing a blogpost on how you can wear the same dress for different occasions all day long by just changing a few accessories, etc. which I did on Wednesday along with a make-up haul which will be up on Monday !
I decided to do this, because it's very easy to arrive home from a busy day shopping or whatever & you might be going somewhere, To a friend's, A wedding or a party & you don't have enough time to change
soo I'm going to show you how you can use the the same eyeshadow palette & dress for two different outfits in one day.

Today I'm using Essence's Quattro eyeshadow palette in Denim 4.0 & my blue jersey dress from H&M for both looks.

(Fuzzy Camera, Fuzzy camera. NOOooo ! Stupid lens.)
Soo this is my day look I created.
I blended the first & brightest blue & the silver together to create a bright look & wore a  natural pink lipgloss.
I wore my jersey dress alone with a pair of sandals & tied my hair back in a side ponytail.
You can alter this look by adding a hoodie, Wearing different lip products, etc. .

For the night look, I blended the last & darkest blue near the crease of my eyelid & applied pink lipstick.
I threw on an ivory cardigan over my jersey dress & left my sandals on.
I turned my ponytail into a bun by wrapping it around my large velvet hair bobbin & secured with a smaller hair bobbin.
You can alter this look by adding a clutch, Adding blusher, etc. .

Make your outfit stand out by making sure your nails compliment your dress !
Like I've shown below, The colours pink & yellow really compliment the colour blue soo I have combined them both into nail art to wear with my dress & I'll leave the link to to the tutorial on how I did these nails at the bottom.

Hope these suggestions help !
If you want a tutorial on my bun or anything else shown above just comment below !

17 Hide Away concealer review, Make-Up Routine & More !

Good morning everyone !
It's 10.28am & I'm outside in the front garden under a tree as yesterday afternoon & this morning it's been really warm & sunny & I think the rest of today is going to be the same.

Yesterday I prepared two blogposts for the weekend, but today I'm reviewing 17's Hide Away concealer.
Damnit ! I forgot a mirror ! One moment. Ok I got the mirror.
Anyway, I'll also be doing a summer make-up theme sort of tutorial as well it's kind of like my summer make-up routine.

First of all this is me with no moisturiser on & the sunlight - Yes, I do know I don't look awful, etc. with no make-up soo please don't say that I don't need make-up as I don't wear make-up every single day & I don't put on a whole lot !

First I'm going to apply moisturiser as shown below, I'm also going to apply lipbalm.

1. Squeeze the moisturiser onto a finger.
2. Apply dots of the moisturiser onto different sections of your face.
3. Now moisturise & leave to soak in for five minutes.

While I'm waiting I'll just keep rambling on !
I use Clean & Clear's Morning Energy skin brightening daily moisturiser which I've used for almost a year now & it's brilliant.

Above is the concealer I used which is from the brand 17.
The packaging is really sophisticated, It actually looks like Essence's cream eyeshadow base.
The text on the packaging promises / claims that the product is dermatologically tested & fragrance free & that you can use this concealer alone as a foundation or underneath a foundation or powder which is basically suggesting that you can use this product all year around which is a great first impression.
The applicator above is like a lipgloss applicator which I haven't used before & I'm really iffy will I won't I about that to be honest - I'm using this concealer in the shade fair.

First, I'm using the applicator to apply several blobs of concealer to the back of my hand to work from.
I recommend using this technique or applying with a brush.
Use your ring finger to apply concealer & make sure your hair is pulled back & is not in the way.

Review / Thoughts : This concealer is ok, It's hard to work with & slightly dry soo I'd recommend that you     add a small blob of moisturiser to make it more moist.
I know this sounds crazy, but if that dosen't work I'd even go as far as suggesting that you add the teeniest of drops of water to the mix just don't make it too moist !
I wouldn't recommend wearing this concealer on or around dry or rough patches, because of the dryness of this product.

As for the promises or claims as I'd call them after trying the product out read on the packaging ... It is fragrance free couldn't smell a thing of it, but I wouldn't wear this alone like it suggests on the packaging, It dosen't have a "soft matte" finish that it promises in-fact it almost makes your skin problems, etc. look worse than the already are although the sunlight affected the photo soo you can't really see what I'm explaining.
Rate : 6/10.

I'm now going to finish my look with Clinique Almost Powder, A layer of Essence Multi Action mascara & pink lipstick ... Except I forgot the powder - Omigod I'm soo forgetful !
My brother's getting me it, because I don't want to leave my valuables out for someone to steal soo while I'm waiting I'll show you my hair-do.
I tied it up in a ponytail & then wrapped it around with another hair bobbin into a bun, I then used hair grips to grip hair to the bun.

Got the powder which applying now with a brush that could be a No7 to apply it.
I also brush some powder over my eyebrows.
Yayy Mam bought myself & my brother a hula hoop each whoop ! Off topic, Off topic.
I'm finally finished my look, I think I'm definitely going to have to mix the concealer with moisturiser from now on.

As for my outfit, I'm wearing my floral maxi dress from Next, My white knit back to front as a sun cover which would be handy as a sun cover worn at the seaside, My striped sunglasses from Clare's Accessories & sandals. I also carried alot of my stuff back with a little chicken haversack which we got at Easter when I was younger, How cute ?!

Hi everyone !

Today I got my third & second last tooth out today soo just one more to go & it's all finished.
The worst thing about getting these teeth out is that the anaesthetic takes alot out of you for the next few days which means no proper projects.
I was planning on preparing one for yesterday, but I didn't have enough time to take photographs soo here's my favourites looks worn at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards.

Photograph Source : Digital Spy

I love Demi Lovato's Louboutons - Am I spelling that right ? -  & her dress. The grey black & yellow look  great together & her hair really compliments the dress & the shoes.

Does everyone agree with me when I say that I want Selena Gomez's hair ?
I prefer it darker brown Selena's natural hair colour, but I love how long, but straight it is & really casual .
I also love her peep toe shoes - They really compliment the colour of the dress.

Victoria Justice looks brilliant here I think.
I love the colours in the pattern of the dress & the colours & the dress itself looks amazing with the colour of her hair.

I love Lucy Hale's dress & metallic shoes, They really suit her petite frame.
I also love her wavy hair & natural make-up.

Let me shout this at 100 decibels loud -
I  love both their hair here, Kendall wears a fishtail plait to many events & they look brilliant on her & Kylie's hair looks really sophisticated, I want their hairdressers !
I love both their outfits as well although out of the two of them, Kylie's outft is my favourite.
