New Look top | H&M skirt | Penneys tights | Tesco boots
There are a lot of pink hues in this post for a change and I can only blame it on my friend's bedroom being so pretty, hence me whisking out my camera on extreme low battery and taking photos of everything in the middle aged single club's HQ. Don't ask why we put the 'middle aged' in, I'm presuming it's some kind of unintentional foreshadow. Activities include listening to pop music whilst messing up webcam selfies and throwing roses - the sweet, not the flower - at each other.
While it is remains relevant, I'm going to be make a big hoo-ha of how this is the first post of 2015 and this is a new chapter of an entire new book and I woke up an entirely new person this morning with six different colours in my hair and there's hoverboards, wow the world has changed so much ! I don't think I've ever been so sarcastic in a blogpost but yes the date changed just like it does every day except today the digit at the very end changed too and because of the ever growing celebrations and fascination around a new year, I'm going to take every new day, week and month as an excuse to celebrate. With my laptop. On the Twitter machine. Whilst we're on topic of the year changing, I should add that twenty fifteen is the year of the sheep which you will find very very funny and ironic if you are a friend of mine.
You can have a read of last year's New Year's Eve post here although it is very similar to this one but as for this year, my family and I went out for dinner and then came home to watch Mrs Brown's Boys ! My outfit consists of two things I recently bought with money I received for Christmas and I love them both so much, especially the velvet patterned top which goes with practically anything - I almost wore it with shorts, but then I decided to go for the rose print skirt instead.
So, Happy 2015 and I'll talk to you soon !
